When does the challenge run?

From Monday 21 September 2026 at 12:00 noon (Europe/Luxembourg) until end of day Sunday 5 October 2026.

How does 1 kg = 1 tree work?

For every kilogram of litter collected and logged via the CSFN app, CSFN plants one native tree with its reforestation partners after the challenge ends.

What if my country isn't on the team list?

Look for your country's flag in the 'Find your country' grid - all 12 countries are listed. Denmark, Belgium and Portugal each join a combined team.

Will my email be visible?

No. Only first names or chosen usernames appear publicly. Email addresses are never shown.

How often is the leaderboard updated?

Totals refresh every 1-2 days during the challenge. The 'Updated' timestamp under the leaderboard shows the latest sync.

Is it a competition between teams?

Not really. The hero number is the shared 500 kg goal - every team's kilograms count toward the same total. The leaderboard is a friendly view of who's contributed what, not a ranking trophy.
